The remaining 100 vacations will be awarded in the form of a Resort Vacation Certificate, which has an average retail value of $499 USD for a 7-night stay. They will go not only to the 19 finalists who did not win the grand prize, but also to those who participate in the voting phase of the competition. Winning voters will be selected at random

Voting will take place from Nov. 1 through Dec. 30, 2011. The 20 finalists of the photo essay contest will be announced in late October. The Ultimate Family Reunion grand prize winner will be announced on or about February 2012.
