HONOLULU (AP)—Johnson Wagner played bogey-free over the last 12 holes and
won the Sony Open for his third PGA Tour title.

Six players had a share of the lead Sunday at some point in the final round.
Wagner was the only player who stayed there, closing with a 3-under 67 for a
two-shot victory over Carl Pettersson, Sean O’Hair, Harrison Frazar and Charles
Howell III
.

The win puts Wagner in the Masters, and keeps that mustache around that has
been causing so much attention for at least another week.

He ended his two-week working vacation in Hawaii with a tie for ninth at
Kapalua and a win at Waialae. Going into the year, Wagner had only seven top 10s
in his career.

He finished at 13 under.

JOBURG OPEN

JOHANNESBURG (AP)—South Africa’s Branden Grace won the Joburg Open for his
first European Tour title, closing with an even-par 72 for a one-stroke victory
over England’s Jamie Elson.

The 23-year-old Grace completed a third-round 65 on Sunday morning in the
rain-delayed event. He finished at 17-under 270 at Royal Johannesburg and
Kensington Golf Club. Elson shot a 63.
