The owner of West Virginia’s luxury resort, The Greenbrier, visits the set of Marshall University’s student-produced show “Up Late” this week. Jim Justice, who calls the historic resort “our state’s treasure,” talks with host Jamie LoFiego about the grand old hotel, its new casino and The Greenbrier Classic PGA Golf Tournament. Justice earned both his bachelor and MBA degrees at Marshall University and served as team captain of its golf team his junior and senior years. In other action on the show, Brittany Barnes, a junior radio-television major, is upset when the crew can’t tell her apart from AJ Meadows, a sophomore radio television production manager. Also, LoFiego attempts world domination of a pancake eating competition at Veterans Memorial Field House in Huntington. This week’s radical musical guest is the Huntington band Qiet performing its song “Talk.” The four-member band rocks the set with both toy and real instruments. For more information on Qiet, go to www.qietmusic.com. …
